Auction house Lyon & Turnbull is staging its flagship online auction Modern Made: hosted in the Mall Galleries in Mayfair, London, it features the best of 20th- and 21st-century art and design, and spans two sessions: the evening of 30th Oct and throughout the following day.

With a strong focus on Modern British painting and sculpture and design, alongside ceramics and contemporary craft, this occasion is unique in that it includes the collection of architects Gordon and Ursula Bowyer – formed over six decades and reflecting their friendships with leading artists and their commitment to post-war modernism. It encompasses works by Ben Nicholson, Paul Nash, Victor Pasmore, Keith Vaughan, Robert Adams and Reg Butler, alongside paintings by Robert Colquhoun and Robert MacBryde, plus prints by Eric Ravilious, CRW Nevinson, Edward Wadsworth, Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso.
