The popular Winter Exhibition at the Meffan Museum & Art Gallery in Forfar is an annual open art show which attracts entries from all over Scotland, lured partly by prize money of £200 to £1500. Artworks of all types are on display, including painting, drawing, sculpture and jewellery. Exhibition space is limited, so only the very best works make it onto the gallery walls.
