Tatha Gallery in Newport-on-Tay is hosting a group exhibition focusing on the way human beings see each other, seeing faces especially in everyday surroundings. We tend to find ‘faces’ in even the most unexpected of places, in patterns and everyday objects – maybe a desire for connection or a need to find a reflection of our own humanity – a fascination with the human form expressed through art in the timeless tradition of portraying the human figure in different settings and media.
Celebrating the tradition of figurative painting, Interactions explores the beauty and complexity of the human form, in the work of Stuart Buchanan, Celie Byrne, Joyce Gunn Cairns and Kevin McFall, joined by the ceramic works of Judy McKenzie.
