The ninth edition of the biennial festival Glasgow International has been postponed due to the current health crisis, but an online programme is available from the original festival start date.
The Scottish Gallery hosts a new collection of paintings from Ross Ryan’s two years of chasing gales, sailing to offshore lighthouses on his boat and discovering the people and their islands.

The Glasgow Gallery’s current online exhibition features the Scottish and Italian work of Glasgow-based painter David Marshall.
Newport on Tay-based Tatha Gallery’s online exhibition features the landscape work of Allan Macdonald and Eva Ullrich, who go in search of remote locations to experience the landscape before them, exploring untouched and untamed places and looking at the qualities of light and the special characteristics of place.
Lemond Gallery has been specialising in contemporary Scottish fine art since 2000 and as part of its current online display it has posted interesting interviews with featured artists Rosanne Barr and Ryan Mutter in which they talk about the inspirations and methods behind their work.
Scotland’s largest private art gallery is showing a series of online exhibitions, one of which will generate donations to NHS workers.

Tullie House Trust is supporting well-known and emerging artists in northern England by calling for submissions for its New Light Prize Exhibition, which opens in Scarborough in September.
The Scottish Society of Architect-Artists is exhibiting the works of its members online in its annual Spring Exhibition, ‘Island Odyssey’.

The Society of Scottish Artists is calling for entries for its Tides Changing exhibition, scheduled for 31st August at Gala House in the Borders.
