Another Time, Another Place comprises twelve paintings by popular Scottish-based artist Victoria Crowe, which inspired twelve poems by Christine De Luca to form ‘a beautiful conversation between an artist and a poet’. For Victoria, the works represent a return to work, in her West Linton studio, where she has regained her artistic momentum after a serious illness which forced a prolonged interruption. The results are highly contemplative, examining the notion of finding ‘the profound outside your window’.
The accompanying publication is available to view and purchase, and additional available work by Victoria can be viewed. Two supporting films can also be seen on the exhibition web page.
