A new Glasgow steakhouse puts the accent firmly on Scottish meat. The Chophouse Brasserie in the Merchant City takes fresh cuts of prime Scottish beef, pork and lamb, seasoned and grilled for real flavour in a 1930s New York-style atmosphere. The beef cuts are Angus rump, sirloin, Porterhouse and fillet whilst the pork and lamb offerings are veal cutlet and Ayrshire gammon steak. The Chophouse Brasserie is a classic steakhouse and brasserie for discerning diners. Proprietor Julie Walters aims for quality food at an affordable price. “We are serving only certified Angus beef steaks and local farm products, including veal, lamb and pork, and our menu includes fresh seafood. All our steaks, sauces, salads and fish dishes are freshly prepared in our kitchen.”
