Union Gallery, Edinburgh: Drummond Mayo

Drummond Mayo - White House

6th – 29th February

Edinburgh’s UNIONgallery is hosting an exhibition of veteran Glasgow School of Art graduate and RSW alumnus Drummond Mayo, who taught in schools in the west of Scotland and Stirlingshire, painting throughout his teaching career and exhibiting in major exhibitions.

The only individual to have voluntarily resigned in the 140-year history of the RSW, he continued to paint following his retirement from teaching, and, now aged 90, continues to put his expert knowledge of colour and unique compositional skills into daily practice.
