One of Britain’s most innovative landscape artists, Beth Robertson Fiddes, explains: “I try to evoke a sense of character in the landscape, something beyond visual representation. My work has been described as having an other-worldly quality to it and, in a sense, that is my objective – combined with more recognisable aspects of the landscape.”
