Two new displays at the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club in Aberlady are running concurrently until 30th July: a retrospective of John Busby‘s work and a solo show by Chris Wallbank.

The Retrospective of John Busby (1928-2015, whose work is pictured above) is a rare chance to see the drawings of an acknowledges as ‘a legend of wildlife art’, including some of his sketch books.

Chris Wallbank, whose work is pictured below, is a professional wildlife artist with a difference: he creates very large-scale drawings that capture entire colonies of birds, and one such ‘scroll drawing’ – a 3m x 1.5m scroll of a breeding colony of guillemots – is on show.
