Turner Contemporary presents the largest UK exhibition of Scottish artist Katie Paterson to date, paired with a group of works by JMW Turner.

“This is Paterson’s first retrospective exhibition, the first opportunity to look back at a body of work that spans just over a decade and takes as its subject the universe. Time. Space. The cosmos. That kind of thing. What’s remarkable about the exhibition — at least, one remarkable thing among many — is how coherent it is, and how consistent, conceptually and aesthetically.”
– Nancy Durrant, The Times, Friday 25 January

Katie Paterson’s new book, A place that exists only in moonlight, will be published to coincide with the exhibition. The book will comprise over one hundred short texts, a series of artworks to exist in the imagination.
