In the heart of the village of Tighnabruaich, on Argyll’s ‘Secret Coast’, Tighnabruaich Gallery specialises in contemporary art, and Tom Shanks is widely acknowledged as one of the most impressive contemporary Scottish artists, known for his evocative watercolour paintings of the West Highlands. Now 98 years old, Tom continues to draw and paint every day.
