Tales from the Barrow at the RGI Kelly Gallery in Glasgow features work by the three winners of the RGI Graduate Award. Mixed media artist Charlotte Hayes, painter Megan Squire and photographer Charlotte Elizabeth Roberts are 2020 graduates from the Glasgow School of Art (GSA). 

The Award included a cash prize to support the production of a new body of work, which is showcased in the exhibition, exploring landscape, artefacts and mythology. The barrow, an ancient burial mound, became the intersection of their practice and a geographical reference to the north of England, where the three artists grew up. Visiting is by booked appointment via the Gallery’s website.
