Glasgow Print Studio is launching three exhibitions bridging April and May: Christian Noelle Charles, Richard Marsden and Alan Cameron.

Visual artist Christian Noelle Charles‘ work explores identity, self-love, and community within the Black diaspora, bridging her American upbringing with her experiences as a working artist in Glasgow, Scotland (until 31st May).
Printmaker Richard Marsden, whose work is pictured at top, is based in Glasgow and graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, and has had solo exhibitions in Glasgow, Leeds and Berlin. This show features multi-plate etchings overlapping images of brutalist architecture – a continuing inspiration (until 26th April).

Alan Cameron prints directly from found wood onto paper, having thus surmounted the remoteness from printing facilities at his home location: his highly-textured prints are the result of a painstaking process involving sanding, planing and scorching the wood, imparting its unique grainy pattern onto the substrate (also until 26th April).
The Studio is a non-profit organisation with charitable status, so the sale of artworks directly supports artists, contributing to its continued work as a champion of fine-art printmaking; it supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
