The first post-lockdown exhibition at Archway Gallery in Lochgilphead is A Winter’s Work, featuring new landscapes, seascapes and still lifes by the award-winning Argyll artist Caroline Hunter, a regular exhibitor at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. A native of Orkney, Caroline studied History of Art at Aberdeen University and spent seven years in archaeological conservation across Scotland before returning to Orkney in 1994 to paint; she has since exhibited regularly throughout Scotland and London, has been a prizewinner and regular exhibitor at the Royal Glasgow Institute.
