Painting with Sound… the story continues at the Barony Centre in West Kilbride comes four years after the first exhibition by painter Keith Salmon, who has been registered blind since 1999, working in collaboration with audio engineers Graham Byron and Drew Kirkland on their continuing audio and visual landscape project. The show includes twelve ‘audio paintings’, each with its own short soundscape, alongside around 15 other new paintings. A special hour-long soundtrack, which includes excerpts from each of the individual soundscapes, is played three times each day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
