The Scottish Gallery continues its programme of exhibitions up to Christmas 2020: A Family Affair features mother and son artists Frances Macdonald and Ross Ryan, revealing their love of en plein air landscape painting in Argyll, Mark Hearld’s Menagerie features recent paintings, collages and linocuts of British flora and fauna. Changing Seasons showcases Japanese-influenced ceramics by Jill Fanshawe Kato. Additionally, Miniature Menagerie features small works in a range of materials, including glass, ceramic, sculpture, jewellery and metalwork, while The Miniaturists is a collection of works by various artists inspired by the Elizabethan miniaturists Hilliard and Oliver.
