The Salisbury Arms

One of Edinburgh’s most familiar pubs has had a massive makeover. The Salisbury Arms is the new name for this revamped bistro- bar opposite the Commonwealth Pool.

The contemporary design features an airy garden room with honey sandstone slabs, rugs and chunky furniture, the perfect stage for sampling the on-trend gastropub-style menu: traditional crisp beer battered haddock , home-made burgers, grilled Sea Bass fillets on saffron potatoes, Venison with honey roast root vegetables. Landlord Keith Taylor and chef Neil MacKenzie have brought together style and substance in the new Salisbury Arms.
