77° North at the Harbour Cottage Gallery in Kirkcudbright features new work in a variety of techniques and media by members of Edge Textile Artists Scotland inspired by the 19th century Scottish whaling industry. There is also work from the original exhibition first shown at the Discovery Centre in Dundee in 2019. Edge is a collective of artists who have either trained or are resident in Scotland and whose aim is to promote excellence in all aspects of contemporary textiles.
