Earth, Sky, City and Glass at Edinburgh Palette features three artists working in different media to remind us of the beauty and meaning all around us. Adele Gregory builds large scale pencil drawings up through texture in an attempt to recreate 19th century photographs. Partly dream-like and undefined, they focus on the elements of water, earth and air. Whether on foot, a bicycle or in a camper van, Daniel Dabrowski takes every opportunity to take photographs, whether exploring new or well trodden paths, using both negative film or memory cards. Joyottoma Banerjee upcycles discarded glassware to repurpose and reuse as home decor accessories. She is mainly inspired by folk art and mythological stories from the Indian sub-continent.
