The low-down on dough

Ever fancied bread-making? A chance to get tips from one of Edinburgh’s leading chefs is on offer this month. Neil Forbes, will be sharing his love for all things bread at the next Slow Food master class at Cafe St Honoré on Saturday 24 November. The class will cover creating a natural yeast starter for a simple sourdough, why different flours are used for different breads, the art of kneading, why dough is proved, as well as sharing recipes for speciality breads such as focaccia. Tickets cost £25 including a two-course lunch. Cafe St Honoré, North West Thistle Street Lane, Edinburgh.
