Celebrating a hundred years since the birth of Scottish Pop artist Eduardo Paolozzi, a vibrant new exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery’s Modern Two in Edinburgh takes you on a tour through his most popular artworks, reflecting his eclectic take on popular culture and the machine age. Highlights include his Mickey tapestry, made with Dovecot Studios, and graphic and gold ceramic plate collaborations designed with Wedgwood. The selection also includes his colourful tile designs for Tottenham Court Road tube station in London and two screenprints bursting with the kinetic energy, Calcium Light Night and Moonstrips Empire News (pictured). There is also a replica of Paolozzi’s studio, complete with multiple plaster casts and collected memorabilia.
