Edinburgh’s Michelin Star chef Martin Wishart is expanding his empire with his new Brasserie, The Honours, due to open on 7 July. The North Castle Street location is the former address of Tony’s Table and the famous Cosmo Italian restaurant.
Restaurant Martin Wishart on the Shore, Leith has held a Michelin star for ten years. Wishart also manages a second eponymous restaurant at Cameron House golf and spa resort on the banks of Loch Lomond.
The Honours will be a casual, contemporary Parisian-styled Brasserie serving a French-Scottish menu devised by head chef Paul Tamburrini, who previously gained a fine reputation at Hotel du Vin, Glasgow. I think we can expect an innovative menu blending traditional French cuisine with the flavours of seasonal Scottish produce. Perfect New Town location for business meals, ladies who lunch and romantic dinners by night.
