The Second ‘Big G Exhibition’ from The Gallery Melrose is taking place from 29th June – 28th July 2018 in the historic town of Melrose, in the Scottish Borders. This series of exhibitions, especially created to provide artists with the opportunity to present new works, makes use of a specially prepared exhibition space in the gallery, enticing regular customers to choose from an array of new works from several different artists.
Following the success of the first of these exhibitions, which had the theme of ‘New Beginnings’ the gallery is again inviting new work from some of their popular artists including Janet McCrorie, David Hay, Michael Ewart, Shona Lenaghan and David Body to name but a few. This is an exciting opportunity to see emerging new art in the second of three themed exhibitions being presented by David Wallace and Iain Loudon owners of The Gallery Melrose.
By introducing new works on a regular basis, The Gallery Melrose is enhancing its position as an important venue for artists in the region, with many creative people, painters, sculptors, glass and wood workers recognising the high prominence this gallery has within its strong customer base. The Gallery Melrose certainly makes the most of its prominent position in the central Market Square of this extremely popular Borders town which attracts visitors from all over the country and indeed from many different countries.
The last of three Big G Exhibitions, planned for this year, runs from 9th November – 8th December 2018 with the theme Reflections.
