Having reopened on 26th April, The Flat Cat Gallery, in Lauder in the Scottish Borders, is continuing its rolling exhibition of paintings and ceramics from a large selection of artists, printmakers, ceramicists, jewellers and more. A new exhibition from 1st May features the work of Winifred Hodge, whose dramatic and wild seascapes from all parts of Scotland are very popular. The pleasure taken in tasting the freedom on the outdoors on Scotland’s wild trails, and bringing that connection through paint to the viewer, is very obvious from the works.
The new works include pieces by Sandra Dickie, Amanda Phillips, Alan Richmond, Nev Storer, Sarah Ross-Thompson, Lesley Mclaren and June Bell. Email art@flatgallery.co.uk for more details. A number of them can currently be viewed and can be purchased with free delivery to the locality. In addition to the Gallery, there are a gift shop and café.
