The Market takes place across two floors and the grounds of the Palace, and includes a craft graduate exhibition featuring work by graduates from Scotland’s major art schools, an exhibition of Inches Carr Craft Award finalists, a special 30x30cm exhibition of artwork under £250, by a hundred Visual Arts Scotland members, small exhibitions from John Black from Garvald Edinburgh, whose work is pictured above, Nina Price, Olivia Turner and Demelza Kingston (work also pictured).

Plus there’s work from across the visual art and contemporary craft spectrum including jewellery, silverware, ceramics, contemporary art, painting, printmaking, cards, sculpture, furniture, photography, homewares, stained glass and textiles.

The market represents a further expansion by VAS into large-scale art fairs and market events.
