Studio 44 Gallery, Largs is showing a group exhibition featuring work by emerging artists living in Ayrshire, Argyll and Inverclyde, taking the sea, rugged coastlines and inspiring landscapes as its common theme.

Painters Lynn Campbell McGregor, Jennie Vine, Heather Meldrum, Elizabeth Lawson, Sandy Gowings, Jacqueline Curran and Victoria Tonner are joined by glass artist Angus Corbett’s abstract designs, and James Coogan’s ceramic forms representing icebergs, glacial landscapes and monoliths inspired by his experience as an Arctic oceanographer.
