Quality is the key in Frames Gallery‘s carefully-curated Summer Exhibition – a collection of contemporary Scottish art, which features well-known names alongside some new artists to the Gallery.
They include Simon Laurie, whose landscapes and still-lifes are characterised by references to Scottish life and society, incorporating fish, boats, religious symbols and everyday items; Jean Martin RSW, a multiple award-winner who plays the brilliancy and delicacy of watercolour against the surface texture of acrylic and collage; Ann Ross RSW (whose work is pictured)’s travel-inspired work includes architectural studies, weather patterns, landscapes, gardens and wildlife; and Sandy Murphy RSW RGI PAI, who has had numerous solo shows in Scotland and England.
All work can be bought from the website and the gallery offers free delivery within the UK. The gallery supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
