Beyond Boundaries at Tatha Gallery in Newport-on-Tay features abstract art by Hannah Benassi, Naomi McClure, Sharon Quigley and Rhona Taylor (whose work is pictured). The genre of abstract art has been described as a visual poem, able to portray the intangible, such as emotions and experiences, and engage the brain in a way that a straightforward representation may not.
