Thai Orchid just off Edinburgh’s Royal Mile

Thai Orchid off the Royal Mile

Thai Orchid just off Edinburgh’s Royal Mile It’s always good to see debutants on a menu and Thai Orchid just off Edinburgh’s Royal Mile has some new show stoppers. Amid its cast of Thai favourites made with locally sourced or specially imported ingredients, a dozen new dishes have been added. Slowly cooked Scottish beef stars in Gaeng Massaman Neua ably supported by soft potato and peanuts lapping up a gentle creamy sauce.

A stroll away from the Lyceum, Usher Hall, Filmhouse and Traverse, not far from the Festival Theatre and perfectly placed for the Castle and Old Town attractions, the Thai Orchid makes a great venue at Christmas time – for a complete night out or a simple pre-show meal.
