The University of Edinburgh’s Talbot Rice Gallery is seeking five emerging, or re-emerging, artists to welcome into its Talbot Rice Residents programme. The opportunity is open to artists based anywhere in Scotland, of any age and working in any medium, and runs over a two-year period. Residents will be provided with financial, curatorial and practical support to develop their practice, with access to a broad range of research resources and workshop facilities by Edinburgh College of Art and the University of Edinburgh. A series of workshops, masterclasses, research trips and a symposium are part of the programme, in a climate of peer-learning, creative discussion and critical debate, and the programme will culminate in 2023 with an exhibition in London.
