Gallery Heinzel‘s Mixed Summer Exhibition will span the season, running towards the end of August, featuring over 170 artworks, submitted by artists from all over Scotland. The Aberdeen gallery is featuring painter John O’Neill, (whose work is pictured at top), in addition to a welcome-back to many of its regular artists, some of whom have been with the Gallery for over thirty years.
One local artist, Alastair McKenzie, is donating a carved wooden plate, Thinking of You, to UNICEF’s appeal helping children and families affected by the war in Ukraine. A reservation can be put on this piece via the exhibition’s online space.
