Summer Selection at Gallery Q in Dundee is an eclectic mix of paintings and prints by fifteen gallery artists. They are joined by gallery newcomer Theo Crutchley-Mack, who is showing works from his series on ruined whaling stations on the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia, which he was invited to paint and document in 2018 to help raise funds for the Dundee-based South Georgia Heritage Trust, which works to restore damaged habitats of native wildlife. There is also a wide range of unframed works, hand-made glass, ceramics, jewellery and greetings cards.
The Gallery has new work from a variety of new and established artists, showing alongside the above. It supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
