Nestled in a unique Tudor style building in Edinburgh’s chic Randolph Place, la P’tite Folie is a haven of fine French food and wine. As the weather heats up, the outdoor tables make a prime location for people watching, while the cosy, quirky inside space lends itself perfectly for intimate romantic meals or family feasts – especially on the last Sunday of the month, when the popular Sunday roast menu, including the choice of two succulent roasted meats with all the trimmings, is the showstopper. A weekend treat sure to please every member of the famille.
The carefully curated menu showcases the best of Gallic cuisine. During the summer months, the talented team serve up a wealth of seasonal delights, including a chorizo and cherry tomato tarte – sweet and smoky flavours working perfectly together, or a goats cheese panna cotta with a lively, summer garden inspired pea and mint puree. Mains include some of the best of seafood in Edinburgh – a roast cod fillet with mussels, surf clams and samphire is exemplary and perfect when accompanied with a cool glass of white from la P’tite’s impressive cellar.
Everything about La P’tite Folie is true to the French way – where flavour is everything and bonhomie is everywhere.
