The Summer Exhibition at Gallery Heinzel in Aberdeen is one of the season’s most wide-reaching shows, featuring over 150 original works by around 40 artists and craftmakers from throughout Scotland such as landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, allegorical pieces, glasswork, linoprints, woodwork, stoneware, ceramics and sculpture. Participating artists include George Birrel, Margaret Evans, Peter Goodfellow, Anna King, Catriona Millar, Amanda Phillips, Briony Anderson, Caroline Bailey (pictured) and Gordon Wilson, among many others.
