The Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh is showing a spring mixed exhibition, New Light, which brings together contemporary Scottish artists and a curated selection of artists from south of the border, presenting new work across landscape, seascape, abstract, still life, florals and wildlife – featuring established gallery artists and new additions, offering a fresh and varied collection for the spring season.

The Gallery has recently taken-in some new landscapes by Scottish painter Al Bell, which capture a feeling of place as much as the place itself, with spontaneous, expressive mark-making inspired by shifting skies, distant horizons and a strong sense of structure shaped by Al’s design background.
All works are available to purchase and may be taken away on the day.
The Torrance supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
