Normally Scotland’s largest open artists’ and craft studios event, Spring Fling would attract over 10,000 visitors, calculated to generate over £1.2 million for the economy of Dumfries & Galloway. However, due to the public health situation, the regular festival has been rescheduled to take place in October, with an extensive digital programme, open to all audiences, including Virtual Studios, allowing simulated access to about 80 studios. Some participating studios may open on the weekend 10-12th October, subject to government guidelines.
