Tattoo suppers are back at the Hub after their resounding success last year. Café Hub at the top of the Royal Mile is perfectly placed for the Castle spectacular and it is offering some of its most popular day-time dishes for Tattoo ticket-holders who book in advance.
The two-course menu has an appropriately Scottish flavour. There’s a salmon platter and haggis, neeps and tatties, but the Hub’s ever-popular Hubmade burger with think cut chips and salad is also likely to be a big draw. Vegetarians are not forgotten with beetroot and goats cheese tart or roast summer vegetable parcel served with red wine syrup as well as a haggis. With a glass of wine or bottle of beer included the £25 price tag seems just the ticket. Artmag’s exclusive review of Café Hub is posted here.
