The Swiss Neumann-Hug collection has been in existence since 2002 and includes a great many pieces of work that lie at the boundary between art and design, as well as an extensive collection of photographs and historic objects, amounting to ‘a visual journey through architecture’. The collection features highlights from the Bauhaus design school and movement, from many of its most significant protagonists, such as Marcel Breuer, Marianne Brandt and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, reflecting the spirit of a movement whose creative energy endures to this day.

A percentage of the auction’s proceeds will be donated to the Carl Jakob Haupt Foundation, which supports young people living with cancer.
