Slàinte Mhath | National Whisky Festival

In a Coals to Newcastle scenario the National Whisky Festival is welcoming the best drams from all around the world to set up stall at SWG3 this January. It’s part of the Celtic Connections events calendar and boasts a stimulating mix of seminars, food stands, and master classes as well as 50 tasting stalls where connoisseurs can test whether any nation produces a better Scotch than Scotland.

Up to 7000 whisky lovers are expected to arrive on the day which is split into two parts: noon – 3.30, then 4pm – 7.30. Our local craft beer producers are represented too. And to keep things lively, Celtic Connections have programmed a fabulous range of musical acts to add some extra passion to proceedings.

Saturday, January 28 | Tickets: £35 per person plus booking fee.
