Open to anyone over 16 years of age, born, living in or studying in Scotland, regardless of experience, the Scottish Portrait Awards are Scotland’s biggest awards for portraiture. With 80 portraits chosen by an expert panel of judges, this year’s exhibition is the biggest and most ambitious yet, including for the first time colour photography and phone photography. Currently showing at The Scottish Arts Club in Edinburgh, as is customary, the exhibition will also take to the road, to Kirkcudbright Galleries (14th Oct – 14th Jan 2024), thence to Glasgow Art Club (19th Jan – 29th Feb 2024).
