
Following its announcement last month of nominees for its two Awards, the winners of the 2020 Scottish Portrait Awards were announced on 18th November.
The £5,000 Scottish Portrait Award in Fine Art open competition winner is Li Huang for his painting Between This World and the World Beyond, and the £3,000 Richard Coward Scottish Portrait Award in Photography, open to entries in black and white only, was awarded to Robert Andrew for his photo Mheadhoin Trefor. Both Awards offer a series of generous cash prizes for runners-up.
An online exhibition was launched on 15th Dec, and videos, images, a 3D exhibition walk-through and further information are available to view on the Scottish Portrait Awards website. Having launched in Edinburgh, in 2021 the physical exhibition will move to Glasgow Art Club 16th Jan to 11th Mar, and Duff House, Banff, 1st Apr to 30th Jun.
