The programme comprises: J S Bach – movements from Violin Concerto in A minor; Peteris Vasks – movements from Concerto for Viola and Strings; Elizabeth Maconchy – Scherzo from Music for Strings; Witold Lutoslawski – movement from Five Folk Melodies; Caroline Shaw – The Beech Tree from Plan & Elevation & Entr’acte; Edmund Finnis – movement from String Quartet no.2, Sally Norris – 40 24 20 10; Thomas Adès – O Albion, and Errollyn Wallen – movement from Photograph.
