With outlets on Edinburgh’s George Street and in Glasgow’s Buchanan Galleries, the Scottish Design Exchange is based on a unique business model whereby over 300 artists and designers pay a nominal rent for display space and to cover staff, marketing and general overhead and retain 100 per cent of sales of their work, which includes original art, prints, homeware, jewellery, cards and stationery, accessories, games and bath and body products.
