The latest exhibition in the Gallery at Mussel Inn, Glasgow, opens on 3 December, 2011. “Rubbing Shoulders” features ten female artists who have all “rubbed shoulders” with each other at some point during their careers. There is a range of styles, media and subject matter – from life paintings; moving figures; food and still life studies.

The artists are Doreen Boogert, Silvana Maclean, Sarah Keast, Karen Lloyd, Marion McFarlane, Janette Phillips, Anne Coxey, Janet McCrorie, Karen Rogers and Anne Plutshack.
