RSA ANNUAL EXHIBITION

Running from April 1 – May 7

The RSA Annual Exhibition is a focal point of the RSA programme. It showcases work from RSA Academicians and invited artists from Scotland and beyond. Now in its 191st year, it continues to provide a platform for contemporary painting, sculpture, film, printmaking, photography, installation and architecture.
The convenor of this year’s exhibition is Marian Leven RSA. In addition to convening the exhibition, she has also invited a number of guest artists from across the British Isles who are at various stages in their careers, working in different media and in different environments:
Julie Brook, Chris Drury, Marie Foley, Mateusz Fahrenholz, Amy Gear, Keiko Mukaide, Catherine Ross, Emma Stibbon, Geoff Uglow
In addition to these invited artists and RSA Academicians, the RSA Annual Exhibition will also present new work created by the 2016 recipients of the RSA Barns-Graham Travel Award (Mina Heydari-Waite) and the RSA Morton Award for Lens-Based Media (Gair Dunlop).
