The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is celebrating Ludwig van Beethoven‘s 250th anniversary with a Beethoven Revolution programme of orchestral and chamber performances including the Fifth Piano Concerto (the Emperor), piano sonatas performed by Steven Osborne, the Eroica Symphony and Symphony No. 7, and pairing his masterpieces with works by the revolutionary composers who followed in his footsteps, such as Hector Berlioz, Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner.
