The Royal Scottish Academy has launched its 194th Annual Exhibition with an important difference in the midst of the public health crisis. With the RSA’s gallery space on Princes Street closed to the public until May at the earliest, the exhibition is now available to view entirely online, with accompanying detailed commentary from exhibiting artists.
The RSA’s Annual Exhibition is a focal point of the international art calendar, showcasing work from RSA Academicians the length and breadth of Scotland. Now in its 194th year, it continues to provide a platform for contemporary painting, sculpture, film, printmaking, photography and installation, alongside work by some of the country’s leading architects. This year’s Convenor is Graeme Todd RSA, assisted by Deputy Convenor Henry McKeown RSA.
The online exhibition can be visited here.
