Albert Roux (pictured) will be hosting the top table at a charity evening at Queen Margaret University (QMU) at Musselburgh this month. Following the success of last year’s event, the second Albert Roux Dinner is on Saturday 12 May.
It will feature a number of Michelin-starred chefs, superb local produce and amazing wines; all prepared by some of the rising stars from the kitchens of the Roux empire and aided by QMU hospitality students. This year the chefs include Andrew Fairlie, Brian Maule and Martin Wishart, who have all had a connection with Roux in the past.
The dinner aims to raise funds for the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland, as well as to support a number of student initiatives at QMU in connection with social enterprise projects, volunteering and third sector work and for student bursaries.
