Rosanne Barr – Featured Artist in April
This April the Annan Gallery is presenting Rosanne Barr as Featured Artist of the month. Her work aims to explore and capture the mood, emotion, colours of the place filtered through the sands of lapsed time. These are imagined places, her Lands of Escape, but based on direct experience of the North West seaboard of Scotland and of Orkney; areas that she has known since childhood and visits still with young family. Heightened colours of sunrise, sunset and amid storm along with simplified shape are the basis of her distinctive abstract style.
You can browse the flipbook, look online or call in to the gallery to see her Lands of Escape from now till April 23.
