Part of this year’s It’s BRAW (Blairgowrie & Rattray Arts for Wellbeing) art, craft, music and drama event (see panel for dates), Rattray & Blairgowrie’s Rattray Arts Festival at Rattray Hall 28th – 29th August will offer hundreds of original paintings, selected 3D designs by local craftmakers, sculptors, jewellers, silversmiths, and artists working in stained glass, ceramics and weaving. This year’s featured artist is painter John Stoa. Visitors can buy, order and commission new work at the festival, refreshments will be available, and all proceeds will be donated to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and there will be a raffle prize of a painting donated by David MacKenzie. Entry is free.
